Black and white project 3

So here is a project I did a couple of weeks ago.  We had to take our own picture and desaturate(make black and white) it in some way, with a little bit of color in photoshop! So I picked this cute picture of drew bear!  My teacher actually really liked it, and picked me and a couple other students out of the whole class to present our projects in class, because he said we did very good examples of the how the project was to be done!!  Who knew all those days I spent playing on photoshop instead of with my friends would pay off one day (nerd)! :)

Drum roll please... just kidding

So this semester I am taking a design class, and I'm really enjoying it! Here is my first project! The first one is my rough draft, but then I decided to make a new one, and change it completely!!

Final one I turned in!

The only problem with the brown one, was that the words came from a poorly written document, and I thought I fixed all the errors, but on the one I printed and turned in spelt college wrong (collage). Also I must have made my text boxes a little small, because the one I turned in was missing the word choice from the first yellow circle, and programs from the orange bubble! Oh well... C'est la vie!

brace-less!

So I'm the worst blogger ever, but anyways I got my braces off like a week and a half ago for the second time! They were only on the bottom, but I think they were plenty noticeable!  I was always getting the empathy card from other people, they'd be like: i've had those before and I'd say so have I.  Which throws them off. The truth is that I had them in Junior High, and I was really bad about wearing my retainer so my teeth were over-lapping on the bottom middle! So here are some picture: Before, During, and After!

This is at Big Juds we all split the giant burgers, I ate about a 1/3 of one!!
This is us playing out in the snow the night we got there. It was a full on fight, I never knew my roommates were so aggressive! They took those boys down!
This is just before we went out on the snowmobiles.  Natalie's mom tried to give me one of the little girl's helmets, but little did she know that just because I'm little does not mean that I have a little head!! lol! So we had to trade helmets around.

So as hopeful as I was I didn't win the wrist band competition :(... but I didn't lose either! There was 4 of us in the running and the 2 boys took theirs off at the same time... although it was because they were going to the temple! So i'm not really sure if its a good thing that I won against them, or if that makes me sinful for not doing baptisms in a while.  But anyway there was another girl involved, and i am pretty sure hers is still on to this day! Mine was on for a totally of 6 weeks... that is pretty nasty, not gonna lie!  But I made it to midterms!  I'll post pictures if you want! I'm pretty sure the winning prize was Craigo's... but we will see! :)

silly bets

So the beginning of every semester we get these bracelets that let us in to I-night, the on campus party. Well one my friends named ryan started this competition with a group people(me included) of who could keep theirs on the longest. So far I am pretty much beating ryan because his is falling off, guess he isn't as gentle as me! Although I am not sure if it is something to be proud of... oh well. Anyway we are to 4 weeks and counting, i'll let you know when I win!! 

So another fun thing... I am part of the Devotional Board this semester for SSE and for our training/ get to know you retreat, we went to Big Judds to have the hunger heifer ice cream! Craziness 15 scoops of every ice cream you could want and 5 toppings! They also serve it to you in a Dog bowl... sick!! So we had a competition between our board and the Showcase board to see who could eat it first! We lost... but its all good cause it was so fun!! at least it means we aren't pigs haha!!
