ring-around-the-rosy

This is a video I found on my phone of Lauren last Christmas!! ENJOY!!

A little tied up!! :)

We were cleaning up after our spirit challenge with a rope course and I got used as a human rope winder!!!

This picture was only the beginning, I was completely covered with several feet of rope by the end. To make it even better, they wanted me to spin in circles down a hill to coil the rope around me. I opted not too though and instead they wrapped the rope around me!!

Riddle of the Day

A man wakes up one morning, gets out of bed, picks up his cane, walks a few steps, then he throws down his cane and picks up his gun and shoots himself in the head! WHY??

Happy I know, but this is what we do to keep ourselves entertained at work, and this specific one has been floating around work for a while. See if you can guess why, ask me any question!

Sad story...

So the other day at work, I hurriedly put some sunscreen on that was in the door of our work truck and then I was off to the field. But as usual I took off my CTR ring in order to do so. The only problem was that I forgot to put it back on after I was done, and unfortunately instead of putting it somewhere smart such as my pocket, I put it on the arm rest of the door(1st mistake). OOPS!!

So as I shuffled to the field, I remembered that I had left it there and tried to go back to get it, but I couldn't. See the wonderful thing about the USDA is that we have to pretend to follow certain rules, such as once you go into the field, you must wash-up in order to come out. So I yelled back to my crew lead who was driving the ATV and told him to put it somewhere safe. Then I was on my way. But I didn't take into account that he really didn't care, so he really didn't look for it (second mistake-trusting a boy).

Then the next problem... earlier that day we got both trucks stuck in the mud, so badly that they almost side collied, so my oh so smart crew lead decided that it would be smarter to bring the trucks closer to us on a drier road to avoid that problem again. So instead of being able to go back and look for it I could not, and it was very far away from our new location. So I sweetly put the idea into one of the very nice, BYU-Idaho, ATV certified, Guys on my crew to go look for me. He did... and found nothing. :( SAD DAY

But to make it all better I knew that I could not live without it so I pulled the "dead goldfish" trick and bought an exact look alike! Thank goodness that my ring is a classic and they have not discontinued it, considering I have had it since I was 16. Well besides the whole going twice to deseret book because I thought it was the wrong size at first, I was very proud of myself for not sweating the small stuff.

I hope some little farm girl finds my old ring, and is very happy!!! :)
